BBC Television Coverage

On the BBC Sports Editor Blog there is news that they have freed up some time in the schedules for Thursday and Friday and have moved some of the Red Button coverage to BBC2 from 1030 BST to 12 noon before reverting back to the Red Button.

One interesting fact is that the viewing figures for the Opening Ceremony was much higher than for the last couple of live England football matches.

If you live in the UK and want to watch Darren race then you can watch episodes of Games today on BBC iPlayer. Darren is featured on Day Three and Day Four shows.

Hi Darren,
Hope you're getting back to normal after the olympics and all the aftermath. I hear from my mum that you've been frequenting her local! She says it was great to see you and passed on your wishes. It would be good to catch up some time. I'm only down in Dorset a few times a year now as I'm based in Lincolnshire. But if you're about over Christmas I'm down and would be great to see you. I think the last time I saw you was at the carnival a couple of years ago! My daughter keeps reminding me that I know you and was almost unbearable throughout the games asking when you were on and what was your next event! Now she's dead jealous of her Nan as she got wear a gold medal!! Hope you're well! Hope to hear from you!
Paul.
